ADRUINO MICRO CONTROLLER-ATMEGA328; MINI PROJECTS AND FINAL YEAR PROJECTS

The Arduino Ethernet is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328. It has 14 digital input/output pins, 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a RJ45 connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button.

The Arduino Ethernet has a number of facilities for communicating with a computer, another Arduino, or other microcontrollers.
Programming
It is possible to program the Arduino Ethernet board in two ways: through the 6 pin serial programming header, or with an external ISP programmer.
The 6-pin serial programming header is compatible with FTDI USB cables and the Sparkfun and Adafruit FTDI-style basic USB-to-serial breakout boards including the Arduino USB-Serial connector. It features support for automatic reset, allowing sketches to be uploaded without pressing the reset button on the board. When plugged into a FTDI-style USB adapter, the Arduino Ethernet is powered off the adapter

PROJECT ABSTRACT 10- GSM MOBILE PHONE CONTROLLE TWO AXIS ROBOT WITH SAFETY ROBOT

Introduction


A robot is an electro-mechanical device that can perform autonomous or preprogrammed tasks. A robot may act under the direct control of a human (eg. the robotic arm of the space shuttle) or autonomously under the control of a programmed computer. Robots may be used to perform tasks that are too dangerous or difficult for humans to implement directly (e.g. nuclear waste clean up) or may be used to automate repetitive tasks that can be performed with more precision by a robot than by the employment of a human (e.g. automobile production.)

Abstract:
This project aims at designing a robot, which has freedom of movement along all the 2 axes and its motion is controlled by means of wheels. The user can control the movements using a Cellphone from a remote place.  The system is made more useful by introducing artificial intelligence to it. By artificial intelligence, we mean designing the robot is such a manner that in situation which require decision making, the robot identifies the presence of the obstacle, alerts the user and moreover awaits instruction from the user for the further action. Other condition, which the robot can determine, is presence of fire. I.e., high temperature and presence of metals in vicinity.


Existing Technique and Proposed Idea:
          Although robots exists which can be  controlled by a short range wireless or wired communication only.  Today GSM Communication have become a common thing with the advancement in the communication field.  So  we planned to implement the GSM Communication (using cell phone) for controlling the actions of a Robot.
Working:
          A robot is constructed and is connected to a cell phone with associated electronic circuits.  Now the user can dial the no of the cell phone to which the robot is connected from a remote place using another cell phone.  The electronic circuits will identify the incoming call and connects the call for the user to communicate with the robot.  Now the user can control the movements by pressing the desired key. For eg 1 – Forward movement,
2 – Reverse, 3 – left etc.
  This project is divided into modules for better understanding of the circuit.The modules include

PIC Microcontroller Board
Optocoupler With Stepper Driver Board
Stepper Power Supply Board.
Fire Sensing Unit
Mobile Phone Control Circuitary
          This Board is used to convert the commands given by the cell phone to logic level signal and provides the input to the microcontroller.

PIC Microcontroller Board
          This is the board which contains PIC Microcontroller Chip as well as the clock Circuitary, Reset Circuit and Power Supply for the MicroController.
OptoCoupler With Stepper Driver Board.
          The need of Optocoupler is  to isolate the Microcontroller Board form the Stepper Motor to restrict any high voltage to the Microcontroller board.  And this board also contains stepper Driver circuit to amplify the Voltge and to withstand high current because the pulse coming out from the Microcontroller is not tough enough to drive the Motor.
Stepper Power Supply.
          This board contains the power Supply for the stepper motor and relay driver.
Flame Sensor
          An LDR is used as a flame Sensor.  And the output is given to a Digital input of the Controller.   So when the Flame is sensed we can give alarm +Visual Indication and immediately transfer the Message to a nearby Fire Station.

Temperature Sensor

          A Thermistor is  used a Temperature Sensor.  When Over Temperature is detected We can stop the movement of the Model.  Also we can give the Visual +Alarm Indication.

Intruder Sensor

          An Infrared sensor is used as a intruder detector.  So when an intruder is sensed we can redirect the movement of the Model.

-PROJECT ABSTRACT 9-HIGHLY SAFETY DISTURBANCE AVOID CELL PHONE JAMMER SYSTEMS

Cell Phone Jammer is an instrument to prevent cellular phone from receiving and transmitting the mobile signals to the base station. Unfortunately all places such as church, mosque, library, movie theatres and meeting room because not all cell-phone users know when to stop talking. There arises the need of a cell phone jammer.

It's great to be able to call anyone at anytime. Who hasn't seethed through one side of a conversation about an incredibly personal situation as the talker shares intimate details with his friend as well as everyone else in the area?  While most of us just grumble and move on, some people are actually going to extremes to retaliate. Cell phones are basically handheld two-way radios. And like any radio, the signal can be disrupted, or jammed using a cell phone jammer.

Cell phone jamming devices were originally developed for law enforcement and the military to interrupt communications by criminals and terrorists. The Cell Phone Jammers are now a necessity for accomplishing a more cultured society because there is a growing demand for silence at places like hospital, libraries and movie theatres. Nowadays, there is a wide range of cell phone jammers starting from a pocket sized to as big as to jam an entire sport area.

Working of Cellular and How to jam it


In order to explain how cellular jammers works we need to understand first how mobile phones works. The cellular phone keeps communicate with cellular base stations every several minutes by transmitting "alive" signal with ID code. This notifies cellular network that our cellular phone is ON and in coverage area. Now imagine that this communication interfere by white noise signal which provide by the cellular jammer.

The communication between base station and cellular phone cuts-off and the cellular phone will be totally blocked. Therefore the receiver in cellular phone "thinks" that cellular phone is not in coverage area. After 20-60 seconds mobile's phone display will show "NO SERVICE" or "Searching for network". From this point of time the cellular phone will not be able to receive or dial outgoing call. The cellular phone will be able to communicate again after switch off the cellular jammer.
