Bed Side Patient Monitoring System with Automatic SMS System using GSM Technology

Aim:
          This project is used to scan the complete parameters of a person in an ICU ward.
Project Description:
          Our project is a working model which incorporates sensors to measure all these parameters like Body temperature, Respiratory Temp, Saline Status ECG and Heart Beat rate and transfer it to the computer, so that the patient condition can be analyzed to by doctors in any part of the hospital wherever they are. Thus it reduces doctors work load and also gives more accurate results, wherever there is an abnormality felt by the patient, we have also incorporated saline monitoring system which gives an alarm when the saline bottle about to empty.
          More over K-Sheet Automation is automatically done, since all the parameters are completely monitored thro a computer, it can be stored on a database for periodic intervals with respect to the current date and time.
          A new system called medicine reminder system is also incorporated in this project.  An alarm will be energized,  Whenever a particular patient should be given  medicines.  This can be done for multiple patients also by assigning the intervals for the patient to a database.
          An Emergency patient calling switch is also included here.  Whenever the patients finds emergency he needs to press the button on his side, so that the particular patients room number and will be indicated to the doctors room.

Advantages:
Ø 8 independent analog channels available. (For future Enhancements)
Ø All the Parameters can be viewed on the Mobile phone
Ø Annunciation’s systems are included for all this analog inputs
Ø Heart Beat Rate of the Patient
Ø Saline status is displayed in the LCD.

Eye Ball Sensor for Automatic Wheel Chair Movement for Paralyzed Patients

Abstract:
This intellichair is designed to help the paralyzed person who moves on a wheel chair, instead of the handicapped person moves the wheel chair by his hand, the chair will automatically move to a particular direction as the patient moves his eyes towards a direction, with the help of Eye ball movement detection sensor. The chair will also sense the obstacles in front of it and gives a beep sound.  The details regarding the construction of this chair includes the following
Model:
          A prototype model which symbolizes the wheel chair is constructed using the MS Sheet
Master Controller:
          A pic Micro controller will act as a master controller for the movement of the robot.  It is responsible for all the decisions taken by the robot.
Eye ball Movement Sensor:
          This is used to sense the movement of the eye ball’s direction and converts it into digital data and transfers it to the Master controller. (Straight Command, Left/Right Command, Stop Command)


Sensors for Artificial Intelligence
          The Art of putting some human brain into a Machine is Artificial Intelligence.  Sensors are provided to achieve this task.  For Eg. The robot and position itself when it finds some obstacle in its path, or Flame or hot Materials.

Software Driver in Hi-tech C


This is a software tool used to control the angular position i.e., to send specified pulses with controlled timing to vary the speed as when and where required.

Automatic Vehicle Register System for Highway on Toll Plazas


Synopsis


          We can automate the toll bridge gate using the Radio Frequency Identification tag. An RFID tag is fixed with a vehicle. When a card comes in to the vicinity of the reader a charge of some amount will be detected from the particular person’s database and the toll bridge gate is automatically opened for the user to move. The Mechanical Model is constructed using a Dc motor.  The movement of the stepper motor is responsible for opening and closing action.
The Vehicle Details is stored into the Microcontroller memory with date and time for future reference.
